Paperbased assessment

Just found out I got an extra 2years in support group without even knowing I got reassesssed.i was supposed to get reassessed in May but they must have did a paperbased without telling me.
At least now I can stop stressing every time the post comes through the door.

A lot of people go over the time stated for ESA because the time given is just a guide, they can reassess you at anytime.



Usually they send out more ESA50 forms when reassessment is due.

I I haven't just went over my recommended award length date my recommended reassessment date has been changed from May 2018 to May 2020 without my having to fill in a ESA50 and I wasn't asking for advice I already know the rules of esa but thanks anyway.

you state they send you the forms 3 months before, which is not correct for ESA.

OP - Your remarks (" just because you think you know better than everyone else when you don't.") are totally uncalled for.

Such belligerent attitudes will only dissuade knowledgeable forumites from participating in the forum - to the detriment of all posters.

If you have any sense, you should take venison's advice and apologise for your silly comment.

How are you all finding out that your review date has been pushed back? Are they sending letters out or are people ringing the ESA line to ask them? I've not heard from them since late 2013....i was told on the phone back then it was Nov 2016 for my next review and when i last rang in March i was told Nov this year i was due but as yet i've heard nothing and not got the dreaded envelope. :-)
