Hi,
I've just come across a portal called habiplace
Seems a great concept that you have 1 portal for all your bills, but you have to give over username and passwords so it can pull everything together.
Has anyone any experience with this site at all ? i'm always causious with new sites that have come from no where, but this is exactly what i have been looking for as too many things to keep track of.
Thanks

he last thing I'd want is another site somewhere collating all my info and then either flogging it, losing it or getting hacked.
Take charge yourself instead of abdicating responsibility for your bills coz if it goes wrong it will still be you that's responsible. You might as well be responsible from the beginning and know whats going on rather than trying to pick the bones out of a problem that someone else has created.
Just my opinion you understand, but you've only got to read the tales of woe from those who haven't.Never under estimate the power of stupid people in large numbers0 -

You are showing your age:) As a senior citizen myself, I give offers such as the above the widest possible berth. In my view, it is only a question of time before the Banks say 'enough is enough - any Bank/credit card details that you supply to third party websites is at your own risk'. Then again, my family tell me that they are a lot busier now than I was at their age. Apparently, it takes a lot of time to update FaceBook; Twitter and Instagram! This is a system account and does not represent a real person. I joined a while ago and it's really good! Handy to have everything together and good that my other half has access too so we can keep on top of everything!0

I saw this post when searching for reviews on Habiplace. Thought I’d give it a try. I love it! They seem legit and answered lots of questions. There’s loads of different features...I’m a big fan of the pets section!0

Mmm....new first posters singing the praises ? Suspicious I am:rotfl:0

I've done a little digging, and I'm not convinced...
As brewerdave pointed out, the above reviews are from new accounts, that were both made on the same day, and posted the same day. The single Google review is from the very software developer and co-founder of Habiplace. Not a great start.
The website is week, and the platform (or 'dashboard') when starting an account is not convincing either.
Dug a little deeper: the founder of Habiplace has several companies (some dissolved) in his history, most seem related to this 'digital-home' principle.
According to social media, the company has apparently been 'invited to work in Canary Wharf', but how can this be feasible without any customers?
It's worth saying this doesn't yet scream "scam", but it hasn't got enough traction to be convincing either. If it's genuine, why add fake reviews? Why aren't there any other real reviews?
It's a shame, because this idea is excellent, and I don't know any alternatives... but for now, I won't be sharing any data about me or my home, certainly not any passwords.
p.s. I know my MSE account is also new, but I just had to comment on this!
Edit 1: A simple web search will find you several other established apps offering similar services0
