Scuff on vinyl wrapped wing mirror

I came back to my car last night to find someone had driven into my wing mirror and bashed it upward. I flipped it back down and cleaned it up when I got home to assess the damage.

It's a Mini so the wing mirrors have white vinyl wraps on them like the roof and bonnet stripes. Thankfully there's only an inch long narrow scuff on it and no gouging or paint transfer and probably only I can see it as I'm a bit fussy about my car! I'd just use a bit of t-cut on it if it were paint but does anyone know if there's any products you can use on vinyl wraps? I guessing not but thought I'd ask anyway :-)

The roof isnt a vinyl wrap on a MINI. Are you sure the mirrors are wrapped and not just painted? The bonnet stripes are vinyl, yes.

My roof definitely feels like vinyl and you can see the edges of it when you open the boot. The wing mirrors are the same and one unfortunately has a stone chip and you can see it's a wrap.

OK well thats a bit heavy duty for a door mirror scuff. Try some toothpaste on a cloth and carefully see if it will polish up.

EmmyLou30, can you post a pic of extent of the damage?

If it's that bad and bugging you then it may eb worth getting some replacement mirror caps, have a look on ebay.

I'm not sure it'll show in a pic as it's something that only shows at the right angle - which essentially means I'm fussing over nothing! I think I'll just leave it be and learn to ignore it like the stone chips :-)
