What are the best place in Cyprus

Me and my family are planning to visit to Cyprus.
But we are not sure where to be there.
If you guys already been there then please share the place where we can visit.
Besides also share your experience on food also. :)

Little Britain. Used to be superb destination, had a house there in Peyia, near Paphos. But fell out of love with the Island during the building boom of the noughties.

Food's alright, you can get just about everything..... particularly English Breakfasts.

The Cypriots drive on the left hand side of the road.....when they feel like it, ditto with the tens of thousands of expats.

I concur with daveyjp, I have called it home since 2005, eating out is incredibly cheap , lunch £3 , evening meal with wine £8 and upwards .It is still relatively un commercialised with the locals out numbering tourists, the locals are friendly and it is virtually crime free , No McDonalds, No drunken yobs some wonderful beaches, places of historical interest and a wide variety of delicious food , You can fly direct to Larnaca or to Ercan though you will need to change at Istanbul.

If you fly via Istanbul, make sure the connecting flight to Ercan is from the Airport you've just landed at in Istanbul. Otherwise it's quite a trek from Ataturk Airport to Sabiha Gokcen or visa versa.

If TRNC is the same as mainland Turkey, then businesses won't be slow in putting prices up to make up for the dip in the TL.

My wife and I are regular visitors to southern Cyprus.

The "best place" will depend on what you want from a holiday.

If you want Little Britain you will be able to find it. Conversely, if you prefer something a little more authentically Cypriot, you can find that too.

Not so , prices have risen a little but only in line with the increased exchange rate , ie the Beer last year that cost 10 TRY (£2 at last years exchange rate of 4.5), now costs 18 TRY @ exchance rate of 8, so still costs approx £2.

I think the best places to benefit from the TL, are places off the beaten track, where the 'catch-up' will be slower. That's how I see it on mainland Turkey.
  • Paphos is stunning in areas the north though is the cheapest and least touched of all of Cyprus. I have a place near Paphos
