Smart parking ltd fine, hired car and wrong vrn

Hi all,
Apologies for my English.
I hired a car from Easirent 27/08/2018 and on the same day evening i parked my car Fistral Beach, NewQuay between 17:30 to 19:11, for this stay i did pay £2 parking fee, but with absent mind, i entered my own car registration number instead of hired car's.
Today i received below email from Easirent, that i have been charged £55 admin fee and they will pass my details to Smart parking ltd.
obviously Smart parking going to have my details and they will make me liable to pay the parking charge.
Could someone please advise me what is the best course of action? Shall i contact the Smart parking company and explain the situation ? or shall i speak to Easirent ?
Obviously i don't want the hassle of courts etc, as i already have enough things to worry about.

Dear Sir/Madam,
Notification of Admin Fee
We have been informed by SMART PARKING that on 27/08/2018 at 17:39 - 19:11, vehicle XXXXXXX was recorded to have unauthorised parking at FISTRAL BEACH, NEWQUAY.
Please see attached for further details.
By signing the Rental Agreement when taking the vehicle out on hire, you agreed to be liable as owner in respect of any fixed penalty offence committed and would incur an admin fee without prior notification of the charge.
The admin fee of £55 has now been taken out of your account and your details have been forwarded on to the penalty charge issuer.
The PCN issuer will transfer the liability to you and issue you with a new PCN in your name. This gives you the opportunity to challenge or pay the penalty.
If you wish to dispute the issuance of the PCN in the meantime or have not received the PCN in 30 days, please contact the PCN issuer.
If you have any other queries about the admin fee, do not hesitate to email me.
