DVLA - won't let me update my address online?

Options
Hi,

Im panicking....forgot to change my address on my licence to my new address (moved November 2017). Tried to change it today online and had to phone them as it wouldn't process online. They said "oh we have a system problem with regards to your online application". My partner managed his fine online today!

When i moved out November last year (from my ex husband) i was living in temporary accommodation before I moved into my flat. Whilst in temporary accommodation i bought a little run-around car. My log book went to my ex husbands address (he's never passed it on, said he never got it...hhhmmm). I'm just worried there's something on the system and they won't let me change it online for some reason. I've only just got round to changing it (just forgot).

Anyone know why i would have been flagged up and not able to do it online?

Thanks in advance.

No, but it's probably not worth worring about.

It's pretty easy to do using form D1 (get one from a post office, or download).

If you dont have the V5 then you wont be getting the VED reminder either - did you buy a years worth when you bought the car? You may want to sort out a new V5 so you get reminded to pay the VED.
