Front and rear of house line

Hello,
I am little confused where the front and rear of the house is in terms of planning. I have concrete
structural gutters which protrude 25cm to the back of the property. Is this then considered the rear extent of the property or is it the back brickwork? If it is the brickwork, why is the concrete guttering not considered? Same question with the front of the property, I have a concrete porch overhang which is also the door lintel. Is this considered the front line of the property?
Any help would be great!

Its more where the building touches the ground. However its difficult to work out for what purposes you are asking? If you give an idea for what purpose you need to know it may be easier to confirm where the lines should be taken.0

Hello,
I am looking at extension 6m from he rear of my property, as that is the maximum allowed, however with the structural gutter it could be 6.25m. So I am trying to determine what the most rear wall would be.0 -
walls are walls, gutters are guttersThis is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0

In planning they call it "front and rear elevation" they don'y say walls0

Technical guidance talks about walls. If adding the extra couple of hundred mm onto the extension,
just apply for planning permission, if you are trying to "play the system" without understanding exactly
what you are doing then it'll come back to bite when you try to sell. For the additional room to you
are talking about its absolutely pointlessThis is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0
