Vehicle control services limited (vcs) county court claim

Hi All

I have received a county court claim form from Vehicle Control Services Limited (VCS). They claim I parked on Gateway Retail Park (Middlesborough)

I have previously ignored all correspondence from them and now have this county court form. I have had a read through the newbies forum but have not found anything on VCS.

Can anyone please point me in the right direct if i have missed it or any help is much appreciated? Thanks

I have had a read through the newbies forum but have not found anything on VCS.
You will need to read it again then!

The second post of the sticky tells you all about court stage, including links to example defences for VCS and other cases. I wrote a VCS one only the other day, linked there.

Do the Acknowledgement of Service first - you will have seen in the NEWBIES thread, a Dropbox link showing a step by step guide to that, to buy more time.

  • Forgot to mention one thing (not sure if it helps) but the vehicle is registered to my company so on the V5 it states the company name first and my name below it. VCS have always sent correspondence in the companies name and not mine. The claim is also on the companies name?

Same as the other company defences then, there are several to look at on the forum to show you the extra things to add about no liability of the keeper firm, who clearly cannot be 'the driver'.

Have another read of the examples in the sticky thread, you seem to have missed them.

What is the Date of Issue on your Claim Form?

Can you please post the exact text in the Particulars of Claim box on your Claim Form?
