I want to become an estate agent.
Bankruptcy isn't the worst that can happen to you. The worst that can happen is your forced to live the rest of your life in abject poverty trying to repay the debts.

well, you could have put the "word" out before you signed up, but would it have got to them specifically?

it's more of a coincidence than anything; frustrating but not avoidable.

It's frustrating, I know how you feel.

We sold our house to a property developer who already owns two of the properties in our terrace of four through an estate agent. We already had his phone number, so could have sold it for the cost of a call rather than £2.5k in estate agents fees.

We assumed he didn't want it as he had already had the other houses before we bought there. It turned out that he didn't get on with the last owners, who wouldn't sell it to him.

The moral of the story... never assume!
