Laptop battery

Sorry if this is not the place for my question.I bought a laptop last november and its still in warranty from currys,but the battery is very erratic its not lasting very long at all.

What i need to know before i phone them up is is the battery guaranteed for the 12 months or is it just the laptop that is guaranteed.

Check you paperwork that came with the laptop. You never know you may be in luck

I will do m8 but i would have thought the whole package would be under warranty.these people like to take your money but if anything is faulty they look for anything not to replace the faulty goods.

Your warranty could be with the manufacturer, I had a HP laptop and complained to them, they sent me a new one next day, hth. Alan.

Think i will phone currys up before toshiba, i just thought with it being in the 12 month warranty the shop where i bought it had to sort it out.

Use this software to examine the battery, it will check the wear level, capacity etc, it's from Japan and works well
