If your on indefinite disability benefits and you move to anywhere in the EU will you lose your PIP and ESA benefits?
Can you claim any benefits in the new country, while your getting UK benefits?
For example getting housing benefit in France, but PIP and ESA in the UK?
Also a health insurance from France paid by French government?

Information I post is for England unless otherwise stated. Some rules may be different in other parts of UK.0

This confirms you can get disability benefits and war pensions in another EU country.
The UK government tried to reject it but the European Court won haha. This is the reason the muppets want brexit its nothing to do with money its power.

The information on the gov.uk page lacks important information. For ESA, for example, it doesn't describe the rules for income related ESA, but only contributory.
ESA in general can be paid whilst you are abroad, for an indefinite period, if your absence is for NHS treatment, or you are accompanying a serving member of the armed forces. The 26 week rule applies where you have gone abroad to get treatment (which needn't be NHS treatment) in connection with limited capability for work, or treatment for a child.
The page also doesn't cover the "co-ordination rules" - a set of rules which aim to "co-ordinate" which state pays your benefits when you move around within the EEA, and allow you to be paid your benefit - in some cases, indefinitely - whilst you are in another EEA state. These rules help you if you are working, or have worked, in more than one EEA country, or are the family member of a worker.
Other people can benefit from these rules too, but they are particularly complex, and it's essential to get advice specific to your own situation. In general, only one state is responsible for paying your benefits, so if you are getting something like ESA or a retirement pension from the country you left, you won't qualify for an equivalent benefit in another EEA country.
If you can't rely on these EEA rules, you may be able to claim benefits in another country under a "reciprocal agreement". We have reciprocal agreements with France for certain benefits.
For more information, including the latest on how Brexit might affect your benefits abroad, and your ability to get healthcare in France (or in the UK if you return), you might want to contact the free advice service of the European communities, via the Europa website (click on your language and then select "Email your questions about the EU"). Europa give helpful general advice about social security in other countries, but it's not a substitute for detailed, specific advice on your own situation.0 -

All good and well but we are leaving the EU in a few months and it's likely these rules will no longer apply.
As for claiming benefits in the eu it's not as easy as the Uk. You need to be registered and paying tax through work or self employment to be eligible. Even then they don't have the vast benefits that we do.0 -

I do not think you will qualify for HB, from either the UK or France.(AKA HRH_MUngo)

The different types of benefits not the amount
Housing benefit doesn't exist across much of Europe.
Understood - that's why Universal Credit is coming in. It will make things so much simpler by reducing the number of benefits (I wish).Information I post is for England unless otherwise stated. Some rules may be different in other parts of UK.0
