We have had a PPI claim rejected by the FO but upheld following on from Previn ruling, we went through a CMC to process the claim, they are now asking for their fees, we have paid them previously for standard PPI claims, are we now required to pay them under new ruling?

It depends on whether they sent you a letter saying the complaint was complete after the first payment or if not. I don't really get what your post means though, if you previously won and paid a fee, why have you got a Plevin payout (given Plevin commission refund was included in the payment you got)? Do you mean you paid them for other PPI complaints?

Did they say their service was complete in a letter before the Plevin payout?

Sam Vimes' Boots Theory of Socioeconomic Unfairness:

People are rich because they spend less money. A poor man buys $10 boots that last a season or two before he's walking in wet shoes and has to buy another pair. A rich man buys $50 boots that are made better and give him 10 years of dry feet. The poor man has spent $100 over those 10 years and still has wet feet.

If your plevin complaint was within 6 months of the FOS rejection then the CMC should be paid. If it was more than 6 months after the FOS rejection and the CMC didnt tell you anything about Plevin, then they should not be paid and are trying it on in breach of rules.
