As far as I know the Gimp (or Gimpshop)is the closest free equivalent to Photoshop so that will do everything she wants and more.It's my problem, it's my problem

Right I have the information regarding placing multiple various sized pics on one sheet. But before I get to that, if the user uses Picasa2, it is possible to have multiple placings on that.
What I discovered and have used, is excellent. BUT, I found it on a disc. The disc is called "The ultimate Digital Imaging Software Management Suite" and it contains about a dozen suites. The piece in particular is called
Photo Printer 2.0LE I googled that and got a response. It seems it has now been withdrawn. However, there appears to be a list of similar applications so you might find something suitable.

That's OK thanks. I just like to keep a stash of these programs that other people find useful and I might do too some day, but usually never do!
