Weight of basin and semi ped

Ordered a Roca "The Gap" Basin and Semi Ped for new bathroom refit.
The pedestal itself is incredibly heavy and have not looked at the basin to check how heavy that is.
There are only 2 x 4 inch fixing bolts to screw to the wall and a couple of spring type fixings to hold the pedestal onto the basin.
I have a solid wall but the whole thing seems far too heavy to me and am thinking I will probably have to buy a full height padastal.
Has anyone any experience of this (weight issue) and was it ok in the end?
