  • agree with C-M. Estoppel is a red herring.
Your argument is grace periods, you were not given a reasonable opportunity to find out about the parking restrictions and how to get a permit/where visitors were permitted to park and under what terms.

  • Due in court tomorrow. Thanks for all the help, and whatever the outcome I'll post the details here. Any last minute advice, something to calm the nerves?

    Another one bites the dust

Take a wage slip and your costs schedule in your bundle, and also proof of emailing your WS and evidence to the other side, in case they deny getting it. People have had their cases adjourned due to not being able to disprove that lie...

Don't talk to the other side's rep much outside except to be polite, and don't accept any last minute paperwork or show them your papers outside the court room, tell the anything they want to say can be said in front of the Judge.

Dress smartly of course - and aim to get there half an hour early, just in case of unexpected hold ups on your journey and to stay less stressed - and take water/sweet as you'll have a wait!

And please tell us your outcome, good luck!

    How did this go?

  • The case was adjourned. The judge was running behind and frustratingly ended up adjourning my case along with a couple of others. On my way out of the court the Gladstone solicitor did try to get me to settle at a reduced charge of £100. I said no of course.

Not heard back from the court as yet.
