Premier parking fine cctv

Hi I parked on a private lane which had double yellow lines on. I dropped my partner off as she has prepaid goods to pick up in Argos around the corner... I was under the impression that loading and unloading under contravention 01 TMA was fine on double yellow line. Do you think I woukd have good grounds to appeal this pcn? Many thanks

    You title mentions Premier Parking.

Have you received a private parking ticket or a council one?

Double yellow lines do not have the same statutory meaning on private land.

What do the signs say about stopping on DYLs?
  • Yes it wss a private company on private land, the signs stated no parking at anytime.

Good, get pics of those signs as you will need them at POPLA stage.

With a private firm, on private land, double yellows don't necessarily have the same meaning and the TMA or code 01 does not apply, so forget what you know about Local Authority PCNs; this scam is completely different.

Read the NEWBIES PLEASE READ THESE FAQS FIRST sticky thread, first!

Then send the usual blue template appeal (I BEG YOU not to copy if here and ask ''is it this one?''). Then ignore the letter that asks who was driving, PLEASE don't post about that here either as we have enough to deal with, then come back at POPLA stage.

    The sticky thread explains all.

This is not an appeal about the story of what happened. NO saying who the driver was.

Great thank you, no mention of driver just the letter is addressed to me.
  • It does say on the letter "if you were not the driver we ask you to supply the full name and address of the driver at, the time"

yes, because they want to mislead the keeper into naming the driver, because the driver has less legal rights

just appeal as KEEPER using the blue text template, nothing else

no blabbing about who was driving

Well there was no mention on this thread of the driver... until post #5.

Please edit that post immediately to remove all clues to the driver's identity.
