B&Q CEO / Executive complaints email

Options
Afternoon,

Does anyone have an email for the CEO of B&Q (or a direct one for the Executive complaints team)? The CEO email website has an out of date address for a previous CEO, and from what I have read online the b&qcustomerservices@b-and-q.co.uk!address is unreliable.

Many thanks,

Steve

Publishing a CEO email address is frowned upon by MSE towers I believe.

My experience of dealing with B&Q executive compaints was entirely negative, they have no interest in doing anything that isn't best for the company. If you are looking to get money back you should be prepared to take legal action.

For fairly obvious reasons, personal E-Mail addresses are not allowed to be published on the forum.

Care to explain why it is that you think this route is necessary?

All complaints received by B&Q Head Office Customer Services are referred back to the store concerned anyway.
Have you contacted the store already?
    Was this an internet sale?

I bought an item online for delivery to my home address on Saturday 6 October. On Friday 5 October I received a text to inform me that the item would be delivered that day. When I arrived home, I called B&Q customer service to request redelivery for Saturday 6 October as per my order. I was told that Parcelforce would try to deliver on my requested date but that this may not be possible as my call was the evening before so could be too late to action. The item was not delivered yesterday.

I have not found any positive feedback online regarding B&Q customer service and have had successful and prompt resolutions every time I have contacted executive complaints with other companies, hence the request for similar contact details for B&Q.

You are going to contact the B&Q CEO simply because Parcelforce tried to deliver a day early (at very short notice) and it still hasn't arrived?

Even if the CEO's E-mail was available here, I think you are rather wanting to use a sledgehammer to crack a nut....

And who will you go to one day when you have a real problem ?

Sure - someone's cocked up - but when deliveries are contracted out to 3rd parties there's always a risk of date changes. If date was absolutely critical then you should have made that clear at the time of order (and it's likely B&Q wouldn't have accepted the order on that basis) or arranged your own collection.

Apologies, I didn't make myself clear...

I work all week and cannot take delivery Monday to Friday, hence the Saturday delivery. Next Saturday is not an option as I am also working and no-one else will be in to receive the item.

I think it is reasonable to assume that if a customer is given an option to select a specific date for delivery, the item will be delivered on that date?

Parcel Force round my way take it to the local Post Office when I'm not in.

None of that is in question. The point is that this a trivial delivery scheduling problem which will be just as quickly sorted out if you simply contact the relevant customer service department. You don't need to contact the CEO (who will never read your complaint in any case).

    As I said, sledgehammer.
