If a lawyer working for a firm which specialises in consumer credit litigation told you that, would you question them :)

Do you have CCJs which have been registered with Trust Online and CRAs? If so were these Default Judgments and/or Admissions, or claims which you unfortunately lost when you defended them at Trial?

A Tomlin Order is not a legal option once a CCJ has been obtained.

According to the posts on this thread the OP made their 'informal' payment arrangement post judgement following an unsuccessful attempt to defend their claim..

Do you have a thread about your particular situation on this forum?

I'm happy to do my best to help you when I can see the facts.

Hey Di, I don't have a thread in regards to my judgements. They are both paid and around 3 years old. I don't think I could do anything to change the situation at this point in time, unless you maybe think different?
  • I obtained a CCJ against a company mid February. I have not been able to take enforcement measures against the company as the CCJ has not been registered on the Trust Online website. I wrote to the court in July querying this and received a reply mid August. They apologised for the error and said that it had been rectified. However this was not the case and the CCJ was still not registered as promised. I have written to the court again but after 3 weeks still have no reply.

Consequently I can take no action to recover this money and spend more money every time I try to check if it has been registered. Is there any other way to move this forward as the court seems unable to sort this out?
    Thanks
