I put the sensor for my inkbird up through the drainage hole at the back of the fridge, so no drilling needed, and no damage done to the fridge.“Quis custodiet ipsos custodes?”

^ Out of interest, what do you set the deadband to on the controller?0

Yes seen that one. However it does seem to use a lot of electricity 410kWh per year compared to most domestic fridges at around 100kWh per year.coffeehound wrote: »Polar do a nominal 130 litre undercounter (64L usable) which Nisbetts have for £336 delivered. Not sure if that's in your price range.

Apparently okay from 5 to 32 deg C ambient.

Cant get to it at the moment, as it is behind a load of crap in the garage, but off the top of my head I have the delay set to 10 minutes, and the temperature within 0.5C of the target. With 5 gallon of liquid in it, it keeps it pretty stable once its at the right temp.“Quis custodiet ipsos custodes?”

just for curiosity. why do you not just put a fridge thermometer in it and call it a day? Why the precision?0

I remember your other thread on that; must say I struggle to believe those figures are comparing like with like. But anyway the domestic fridge with electronic controller sounds like a goer.
As tight as that. It must be on and off quite frequently then. But it's a neat solution.davemorton wrote: »Cant get to it at the moment, as it is behind a load of crap in the garage, but off the top of my head I have the delay set to 10 minutes, and the temperature within 0.5C of the target.
