Anyone else had this?

I had repairs done at home this year under insurance as it was water damage. L&G were the insurers and told me if I used their preferred builder it would be "smoother". It wasn't, they left a mess in the house ( doing the work while I was out at work) and had to return on my request as the work was faulty.

Communication was difficult as they had a very smug attitude , they were persistently calling and emailing through what should have been a simple process, and it left me feeling very drained.

I left a poor review online I admit from frustration, and they are now saying its defamatory because their insurance department is separate to the parent company . What I said was that there was endless paperwork, and they seemed to hold very old fashioned views (not customer focussed!!).

I removed the review, as I don't think its worth arguing over - hoping that's the end of it now.
now debt free and determined to maintain good spending habits and build savings
