Parking eye

Hi there, could anyone please help me with this situation?
Ok my Mam received a fine through post for parking eye at the hospital she works at as she hadn’t realised her parking that she pays monthly had lapsed. So I told them not to respond however my mam has responded and also said she was the driver.....I know, she really shouldn’t have done but has in appeal about how she is a nurse etc and parking had lapsed. Anyway there has been no response to her appeal to them yet but another reminder (we’ll threat) came today with a complete different first name but correct surname.....my question is, is this something that now wouldn’t stand in court if say it came to that?
Thanks for any replies

court is a lottery and the nurses in Cardiff lost to INDIGO, so assume she would lose unless she manages to win
she should complain to HR and get it cancelled seeing as she pays for it
or had the payments stopped completely ?
she needs to read the guidelines first

She needs to complain to the Facilities Manager and see if they will cancel it or accept £10 to cancel. As a staff member they should be able to cancel it for her.
NEXT TIME:
- tell her for goodness' sake NOT to blab about being the driver. No, they didn't know.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

This is an entirely unregulated industry which is scamming the public with inflated claims for minor breaches of contracts for alleged parking offences, aided and abetted by a handful of low-rent solicitors.
Parking Eye, CPM, Smart, and another company have already been named and shamed, as has Gladstones Solicitors, and BW Legal, (these two law firms take hundreds of these cases to court each year). They lose most of them, and have been reported to the regulatory authority by an M.P.
for unprofessional conduct
Hospital car parks and residential complex tickets have been especially mentioned.
The problem has become so rampant that MPs have agreed to enact a Bill to regulate these scammers. Watch the video of the Second Reading in the House of Commons recently

and complain in the most robust terms to your MP. With a fair wind they will be out of business by Christmas. You never know how far you can go until you go too far.0 -
It looks like she is stuffed, I am afraid. Sometimes it's better to take the lesser of two evils and if HR or the hospital won't help, pay the reduced amount.

Thank you for your replies, I’ve just looked at the the gov link and told her and told her she needs to speak to the hospital. She pays a month at a time but it isn’t a set up direct debit and she has parked for night shift and she told me the month she paid for ran out the day before however we didn’t know this until parking charge came as the night after she was at work and then paid for another month, so it’s not like she’s just blatantly tried to get away with it.
Lesson learnt I think, we will see what happens0
