Just been offered this "service" gratis.

Read up on what it gives me, which seems to be nothing useful. Not much in the way of online reviews either.

My question is, has anyone on here actually used this service, and did it benefit you in any way at all?

It’s a scheme to relieve you of more more money, do work work you don’t really need, or do substandard work to a achieve a lower price. Much like Sevingstop.

I cancelled it straight away. All they use is Kwik Fit type outfits, no way I’m trusting my car to them cowboys!
  • I've used them once after my car stalled and wouldn't jump start in August this year.

I arranged the garage visit and got my car towed there. The garage were not aware of the appointment. I got that sorted then had to do all the chasing myself about progress.

Their staff have no idea what they are talking about and just make stuff up.

I apparently needed 3 parts changed. They are supposed to offer you the best price for parts, but the first check against Part Master showed substantially better prices.

They are also only supposed to charge for their service if they can save you money.

I was eventually told after about 5 days that my car was ready and collected it.

I asked for a report into the fault with my car, the guarantee that they used the best price parts and proof they saved me money before I'd pay any invoice. I have never received such a report or any invoice or any further correspondence from them until recently when Roadserve credit control started chasing me. I informed them that I'd not even received an invoice yet and was told it was in my account on their website. I am unable to log in on their website, no matter how many password resets I go through.

The other joke is that if you want to register additional cars with them you have to set up a new account with a different email address!

They are the most amateur muppets I have ever had to deal with. I can't imagine that Direct Line themselves will be happy with this joke of an offshoot.

    Avoid them at all costs
