Nationwide switching offer

Options
Hi

If my friend already has a nationwide account, is he still eligible for the switching offer if he switches his other account to his existing nationwide account? Has anyone tried this?
Don't spend time saving less money than you could earn in that time on minimum wage...

I'm assuming you are talking about the Refer A Friend scheme, as Nationwide doesn't offer any other switch incentives at the moment. For that scheme you can receive a bonus for switching a non-Nationwide account as long as you have NEVER had a switch bonus from Nationwide before. It doesn't matter if you have previously held an account or not, just that you haven't received a bonus before.

He would need to be referred by a different existing customer of Nationwide - he cannot refer himself. If he needs someone to refer him, send me a PM as I am able to help :)

No he's not - unless as Praisethesun said, he's being referred and has not had a switching element of a referral bonus before.

The question was if he switches into an existing account does that qualify?

Yes, as long as he's referred and switches into a Nationwide account whether that be an existing account or one newly created (and he hasn't had the reward previously) then that qualifies.

If the account being switched into Nationwide is a non-Nationwide current account and the friend hasn't had a switching bonus before, they will be eligible for any bonus. It does not matter if the account is already open, as Nationwide account opening and account switching are separate processes
