I have had money taken by paypal (Ebayuklimit)from 2 bank accounts. I have since removed my card details. I have attempted on 3 occasions to resolve this with paypal. They say I authorised these payments and but cannot tell me what for. I never authorised this not have i purchased or sold anything on ebay.
I can no longer log onto paypal to try and resolve this.
Can anyone advise please and how to take this forward please?
Thanks in advance

Financial Ombudsman Service? You should be able to refer the complaint to them if either:
1) paypal have issued a final response or,
2) 8 weeks passing without them giving you a final response. You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means - Inigo Montoya, The Princess Bride0 -
eBay uk ltd is ebays fees I think?!0

This is how eBay collect their seller fees. Has your eBay been hacked?
Did the money come from your bank or a card, you can dispute the transaction if you are sure it isn't something you owe, but you need to do it with the card/account.0 -
You haven't got an eBay account ?0

I have an ebay account as well as a paypal account. I have since cancelled my Paypal account when money was taken from two cards registered with paypal.
I emailed them and they said I had authorised these payments, which i Did not. As I have since cancelled my paypal account I can no longer log in an email them again.
I have since received a statement from paypal for October fees but I am unable to log in to view as I no longer have an account with them. I have also removed my registered cards with them.Eilis :money:0 -
You haven't said whether you sold anything through Ebay ... if you did then this will be them collecting their fees - ergo you would have authorised the transactions. (It being collected from 2 different cards linked to your PP account is a separate matter).
If you haven't sold anything recently then it could well be that your Ebay account was hacked.0 -

You don't pay fees to Paypal in this way, "fees" are deducted as a payment is received. You can opt to pay eBay selling fees via Paypal and as per my first post, this is how they show on a Paypal account.
I did ask if your eBay account had been hacked?0 -

I'm sure I responded to this yesterday ... hmm.
Anyway - I'm sure you could have found a less-condescending way of pointing out my oversight.0 -
