Hi,
I am back!
I have had three quotations.
Two of surveyors said that they are going to connect new 15 mm gas pipe to the 22 mm pipe which is under the boiler. None of them did any calculations.
The third surveyor said that it will be better to connect to the gas meter and not to the boiler's pipe.
Can I ask you to have a look is it ok to go for 'under boiler' variation as the gas meter is at the opposite side of the kitchen and we would need to open up the flooring up to go for the 'gas meter' variation?
I actually don't know what info to provide for that.
Probably kw?
The boiler is Vaillant Eco Tec Pro 28, so 28 kw, G20-20 mbar;
the gas hob Candy CLG64SGX has 4 burners, 25 W, G20-20 mbar, gas power 7.1 kw, electrical input power 15 W. It has one Auxiliary burner 1 kW, one rapid burner 2.7 kW and two semi rapid burners 1.7 kW each.
That is all info what I found.
Sorry if understand something incorrectly and provide non relevant info.0 -
Length of pipe from meter to boiler & how many bends ?
Length of pipe from boiler to hob & how many bends ?I'm only here while I wait for Corrie to start.
You get no BS from me & if I think you are wrong I WILL tell you.0 -
I can only assume.
From meter - underfloor length 2 m + 1.5 m. Bends probably 4-5-6
From boiler - 1.5-1.7 m, bends probably 2-3.0 -
Calculations from your figures shows that teeing off the 22mm boiler pipe is fineI'm only here while I wait for Corrie to start.

Thank you!
For me is easier to do it from boiler.
I am overthinker and overanalyzing everything.
But here I don't have the necessary skills to do it myself.
That's why I am grateful to you, southcoastrgi - today and the whole forum in general, which is very helpful in any question.
