INDIGO/DRPS advice needed

Hi
I've been reading up on the templates but unsure which would be relevant.

Registered keeper received a PCN from Indigo for parking in permit only spaces before 9.30am.

This was around 14 July 2018. Registered keeper did not receive any contact from Indigo since until today when a letter from PCN Debt Recovery Prosecution Service has been received asking for £100. It says if this is not paid in 14 days it will go up to £165 but not what happens after this. They say they are in connection with London and Southeastern railway. Registered keeper did not receive a Notice to Keeper or anything like that. This letter states they have obtained information from the DVLA. Registered keeper is a little confused surely the NTK gets sent first?

As it's over the 28 day period i'm not sure who registered keeper is required to send the templates to is it DRPS or Indigo?

thanks

get the keeper to send the blue text template to INDIGO

dont bother with the debt collectors

the alleged debt "times out" after 6 months, so string it out , slowly

only the TOC can take this to MAGISTRATES COURT within 6 months , which they never do

That is the NTK. The first letter once the DVLA data has been extorted, is the NTK, no matter what they call it.

The usual one in blue, in the NEWBIES thread (I beg you not to copy it here asking 'is it this one?' or we will all self combust).

I hope you read the Q&A on Indigo/railway cases and won't come back wondering why you didn't get POPLA offered...please just read other Indigo railway threads, there is nothing more to add that hasn't already been said and they die out after 6 months, scam over. These are a cinch to ignore.

I just tried the appeal page on Indigos site but it's stated the registered keeper now needs to contact the debt collector. You state on the newbie post not to contact Indigo by Royal mail is there any reason for this? Will they still take any appeal into account considering it's now been passed on?
    thanks

Will they still take any appeal into account

    LOL, still???

    ''take into account an appeal''?

errrrm...this is a SCAM ticket - there is no 'appeal' - they don't do that!

What didn't you understand about the advice about Indigo cases, the link to a summary, that's in the NEWBIES thread under the Q&A, the one all about Indigo railways cases?

Please please read what's already on the forum, you are thinking the appeal is real and somehow 'works' or is 'taken into account' but it's not meant to!

    You have not read enough.

How is this unclear from the link to these cases that I clearly give, in the Q&A?

I understand fine thanks Coupon mad - no need to be rude

I'm asking who do I direct the template to considering I can no longer enter it into the appeal part of Indigos website as it's over the 28 day period and has been passed on to someone else!

Do I send it by post to them or by email? Or to the debt collector.

You didn't answer the question about why you state not to contact them by Royal Mail either.

You have the letter, does it not say who the keeper can appeal to?
You didn't answer the question about why you state not to contact them by Royal Mail either.
Missed that question, sorry, but it's already answered under the template appeal in the NEWBIES thread:
NO NEED TO USE YOUR REAL SIGNATURE - BUT DON'T POST IT BY ROYAL MAIL UNLESS YOU HAVE NO OTHER OPTION ON THE PCN. CERTAINLY NOT BY RECORDED DELIVERY - FORGET THAT! - ALWAYS USE THE ONLINE APPEAL PAGE - OR EMAIL IF OFFERED AS AN OPTION ON THE NOTICE - BECAUSE THE APPEAL CANNOT GET LOST AND YOU CAN KEEP PROOF/ A SCREENSHOT

That's my whole point I cannot put the template in the appeal page as its been passed on to a debt collector!! I don't believe that I can 'successfully' appeal if that's what you're assuming

Hence I have no idea how to contact Indigo..

I have a Notice to Keeper from a Debt collector as per my initial post. It is not from Indigo..they do not have any mention of how to appeal on the NTK. It basically says pay up and if you don't we'll increase the fee

in that case I would send Indigo a SAR under the GDPR and get copies of docs, signage , any pics etc

I would also send Indigo the appeal template as long as you have their reference, the original NTK that arrived in july should have the details on it (do you not have this NTK any more ?)

if you dont have their reference, wait until the SAR details arrive and then send an appeal to the original NTK using its reference code

do not expect an appeal to succeeed, that is not the aim here

the aim is to drag it out past the 6 months deadline, nothing more (plus get the evidence and show a paper trail, hence using the free cert of posting option at the P O Counter for a Royal Mail letter)

ps:- what happened when the original NTK or NTD was appealed in july ?
or was it an NTD on the windscreen and no NTK has ever arrived ?
or was it thrown away and ignored ?

I know, but what you have got is in fact the NTK, we told you that.

So, is there nothing about how to appeal, as a registered keeper?

If nothing - then just file & ignore it like everyone else does, and throw a SAR at Indigo if you fancy wasting their time a bit, during the 6 months till this drops off completely.

    NOTHING will happen.

You can stop worrying; this is the same as all the other Indigo railway threads.
