Hi guys been trying a few different banks to see which I find suits me best, Halifax however seems to have poor security all you need is a username and password to login which i find odd.
Barclays seems the most, requiring my pin-sentry which i feel the most secure using
I haven't tested it properly yet but I could be wrong if anyone could confirm there's more security than just a user and pass that would be reassuring

You also need a memorable word,0 -
Ok. I only want to manage my account by going into the branch but i think they signed me up for internet banking too. When they send the code should i just keep it in a secure place ?0

If you are absolutely sure that you won't ever want to look at the account online or to transact online, best thing would be to destroy the code when it arrives.0 -

When using the web browser based access:
1 Halifax requires certain digits from a memorable word as well as a password and user name to log on. Setting up a new payee requires an additional stage of an automated phone call to a landline/mobile and a code to enter up on your on line banking screen.
2. Barclays you can either log on using your pin sentry device or via a memorable pin plus digits from a memorable word in addition to your username.
However to do certain things like setting up a new payee requires you to logon using the pin sentry device method before you are permitted to do such actions.0 -
