Inflationn Rate : Building Quotes

I am fighting a neighbour following damage to my property, but without success.
Following a meeting with Citizens Advice, it was suggested that I start a claim through the Small Claims Court, initially writing a Pre Action Protocol Letter, a template of which I was given.
Judging by past experience of my neigbour, replies seem to take for ages, the worst case was 102 days after I wrote.
I know with the PAP letter, i have to give them 28 days to respond, then I can start court proceedings, although that can also take quite a lot of time.
I have a builders quote for the repair works, but how should I approach the subject of inflation ?
Just say I win the case but not until early next year, by which time the quotation will be out of date.
I thought if I knew the rate of inflation I could add this.
