I have just typed up a SAR now for her & I will have her send it immediately (Recorded delivery).
I will now go back to the Newbies thread.
Thanks.0 -
1) As stated earlier my mother had disposed of the NTK & all other letters. (Silly I Know).
2) I will re-read the newbies thread as advised.
3)Is it possible I am reading the wrong one? can a link be put on here to direct me to the correct newbies post? just so I'm certain. As I feel really stupid at the fact I have read it more than once & all you guys are telling me everything I need to know is on that post
Thank you AGAIN
1) she must do the SAR asap then, as already advised
2) GOOD
3) no idea but its near the top of this forum, just make sure you are using a laptop to read it (not a phone) so that you get the whole 5 posts and all the links they contain (ignore anything below post #5 in that NEWBIES FAQ thread)0 -
I have just typed up a SAR now for her & I will have her send it immediately (Recorded delivery).
All that does is allow the intended recipient to refuse to sign and then all you have is proof of non-delivery. Not quite what you want.
If you are using Royal Mail, then sent it standard First Class and get a free Certificate of Posting at the Post Office counter.
The item is deemed delivered two working days after posting and it is for the addressee to prove otherwise - which of course they cannot do.0 -

Think about this more - even if you didn't realise you'd be handing the parking scammers an excuse not to sign (thus proving NON DELIVERY!), think about the daft idea of posting ANYTHING to a company 'RD' on a Friday!
All it will do is sit in the PO black hole for at least the weekend (maybe weeks if the PPC refuse to sign for it).
Traders and such firms are not open on Saturdays, you don't have to be a parking expert to know that you would never use RD on a Friday to most companies!
Just take a 1st class letter to a PO counter and ask for a FREE certificate of posting, and staple that little receipt straight onto a copy of the letter sent, and keep it all safe.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Great, then we will see you in a week once you've digested the example defences and you realise your case is just as defendable as all the rest. You will find relevant defences, I promise.
Look again at what you've been advised above, and show us the draft defence when you are ready.
Just repeating the POC so we can all see what vague drivel the claim is for!The particulars of claim states the following:
The claimants claim is for the sum of £100.00 being monies due from the defendant to the claimant in respect of a parking charge charge notice (PCN) issued on 13/03/2016 (issue date) at 10:54:49 at 15 Caunce Street, Blackpool FY13DT Blackpool.
The PCN relates to Peugeot under registration ******.
The terms of the PCN allowed the defendant 28 days from the issue date to pay the PCN, But the defendant failed to do so.
Despite demand having been made, the defendant has failed to settle their outstanding liability.
The claim also includes statutory interest pursuant to Section 69 of the County Courts Act 1984 at a rate of 8% per annum a daily rate of 0.02 from the 13/03/2016 to 26/09/2018 being an amount of £27.82.
The claimant also claims £60 contractual costs pursuant to PCN terms and conditions.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Update: SAR sent Friday 05th and today my mother has been sent the NTK off PAS. Is there a way I can upload it on here to show you guys?
Thanks in advance.0 -
Yes, break a link from tinypics/ imgur etc.
Just mae sure you dont leave identifying marks on. Take off VRM, address, ref numbers, leave on dates.0 -
Yes, host images in Dropbox then share a URL link that you CHANGE (e.g. remove the http or change it to hxxp, and put a gap in...). You are new so can only post a broken link, but make it easy for us and we can convert it.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
