Kids electric car not charging

Hello all,

First time post!

So my twins got bought an electric car for their birthday - it was a very good gift until the time came to charge it. I plugged it in but when i went back to it the next day the battery was totally flat and it wouldnt turn on even when plugged into the mains!

I double checked it was all turned on at the wall etc (i can be a bit blonde) but all was fine - so.... what do i do?? I know you shouldn't let the battery ever run completely flat but for whatever reason either the charger isnt working or the battery is not holding the charge?

Any help would be appreciated.

How long ago did you purchase this ?


This is more likely a consumer rights issue rather than a techie issue as you shouldnt need to be repairing a new item.
I would suggest start by contacting the retailer and see what they say .. They may have seen this before

Its brand new! I just hoped it would be a quick fix and i wouldn't have to tell the friends its broken so soon!

Check the fuse in the plug if it has one ???
I have a feeling that there may be a reset button on the car somewhere.
Might be wrong of course.

If you tried powering it with the charger plugged in then its likely to be a blown fuse.
