Referral code entitlement

Hello. Wondering if anyone knows the process for complaining about a lack of follow-through on referrals for a company.
I recently gave four people a referral code to purchase items from a company. The deal was, and still is, they get 35% off their order and I get £20 credited to my account per referral.
Of the £80 I should have received, there is only £8 in my account.
I have read and re-read the T&Cs and cannot find any way in which I could have violated them. Complaints to customer services have yielded silence. What do I do?

Have the referrals actually purchased anything from the company? Perhaps you have to wait until the change of mind period has expired so they can't buy the stuff, you get the referral fee then the things get returned?0

The T&Cs state the buyers must have received their goods in order for me to receive credit. My account has had this mysterious £8 for 4 people in it for a number of weeks now, so that condition will have been met.
If the company don’t get back to me, whom should I contact? Trading Standards sounds a bit overkill, and I’m not sure the Advertising Standards would bother.0 -
With referral bonuses you may be reliant on the company ... I can see a contractual element here but enforcing it may be difficult - you've certainly no Chargeback or Section 75 route you could take, so that would only leave small claims (MCOL) as an avenue to pursue.
TS generally won't talk direct with the Great Unwashed (AKA the public) - usual method is to go through Consumer Advice. The ASA probably won't be interested.0 -
I would double check the T&C's of the offer just to make sure that it's £20 per referral and not £2. (make sure that you've not missed a very small or faint. between the 2 and the 0.0

To be fair, £2 wouldn't be written as £2.0 ... it would be £2.00. So OP would assume £200 rather than £20 based on a faint dot.0

Bahaha! No, it DEFINITELY says £20 everywhere. Not two. There is nothing about partial rewards either.
I think I’m going to slate them on Trustpilot -warning off other customers is at least helping someone. Will try CA for what it’s worth.
Thanks for the help. Any other tips appreciated, of course.0 -
Do they have a social media presence? That can sometimes trigger a more prompt response? All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.
Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.0 -
Is this a cashback site?? If so they have to earn so much cashback themselves before your reward is payable.
Just a thought!0
