Any kind of advice is helpful. Google has nothing to offer.

    Thanks.

With respect, you dont seem to be asking for advice, you seem to be looking affirmation that your demands are valid.
  • Yeah you are probably correct. What do you think?

But when they created the problem in the first place I don't have much faith in them sorting it out. I just want a refund so I can buy elsewhere. Not going to be an easy task but I'm going to fight it.

Just take it back to be sorted, no harm done,I can't see why you want a refund, I also can't see why they would give one. As long as they don't charge for the extra oil supplied that is.:rotfl:

It’s a lawnmower not a Ferrari, the engine will be very basic.

How will you prove they overfilled it ? It worked fine the first time. Surely all they will do is remove some oil, why would you want a new lawnmower ?

You've been told a number of times what people think. Just get on with it and return it to the dealer.

If the dealer put in too much oil, you certainly should go for a refund or a new mower. That amount of oil will cause all sorts of damage.
  • I completely agree... and so did they! I still can't believe it but they admitted their wrongdoing and offered me a full refund or new mower. No arguments, no accusations, nothing! Because they dealt with it so professionaly I took the new mower! Happy days, oil level is correct and I'm good to go and earn some money.

Thanks for all your responses! :T:rotfl::beer:
