There's no fixed time for an MR and timescales do vary widely. If you are worried you can always ring to confirm that they have received it.Information I post is for England unless otherwise stated. Some rules may be different in other parts of UK.0

I sent it by special delivery, so they should have it.
calcotti, you have been very helpful and thanks for your advice.0 -
Your ESA should switch from CB to IB. I think you should not have to claim UC. I am not sure whether it is automatic or not. I think they will want you to complete an ESA3 form to confirm your current joint income and savings and I think they may first ask you whether to want to be considered before they issue it.
Unless anyone on the forum can give you a definite answer i would suggest you ring them to ask.
I just checked, I sent ESA1 form when I applied (CB & IB). So I don't think I should receive ESA3 form. I update them with my partner's salary when they write to me.0 -

Because your circumstances may have changed I think it is likely that DWP will ask you to complete ESA3 even if it seems unnecessary.Information I post is for England unless otherwise stated. Some rules may be different in other parts of UK.0 -

No. The ESA3 simply asks about savings, income and other benefits received. Purely intended for obtaining information to calculate payment entitlement. It’s a long form so a bit daunting to complete but just has to be worked through logically.Information I post is for England unless otherwise stated.
