Sellers can ask whatever they want for an item, that does not reperesent the value . Always look at the sold listings for a better idea of value.

And of course you had the person last week who sold 4 x 50p for £1 last week:rotfl:
OP its worth 50p0 -
Well if the first one genuinely was a "Petter Rabbit" as in the listing it would be worth a hell of a lot as a mis-strike.
Changechecker gives an idea of scarcity, based on number minted and the estimate of how many are held by collectors or offered for swaps. So since there were 9.6 million 2016 Peter Rabbit minted - it's only worth 50p like gardner1 says.I need to think of something new here...0 -

Thanks for the amount minted info , perhaps it's worth £2 if I'm lucky

Funnily enough - my wife got one in her change yesterday. We now have Peter Rabbit, Mrs Tiggy Winkle, Jeremy Fisher, Squirrel Nutkin and Benjamin Bunny but not the rarer Jemima Puddleduck. Just kept for interest - not ever expecting to make a profit on them.I need to think of something new here...0

Update: The 1992-93 EC 50p is properly rare - but as it's the old large design, you shouldn't get it in change. https://blog.postofficeshop.co.uk/check-your-coin-collection-ec-50p/I need to think of something new here...0
