French door gap

We had new french doors fitted at the end of August. Lovely warm weather. Doors fitted perfectly.
Last week, we had a Sky engineer round and we put carpet protector down. That's when I noticed a gap of about 4-5mm between the master door and the stile on the slave door at the bottom. Tight seal from the handle upwards.
I put in a call to the company who booked someone for review. After the sky engineer had come and gone, we closed the door and the gap was gone. I thought it was us being silly and not engaging the multipoint locks properly, so we cancelled to service call.
Yesterday, I noticed the gap was back. The door had not been opened since last week. The only thing I can think of is that when the Sky engineer had visited, the weather had warmed up and it was sunny.
The door is south facing so I imagine this might be just expansion and contraction.
Is it just a case of realignment of the hinges, or is there something else likely to be going on? I've booked for a call out again but would like to be prepared.

I corrected a gap between my french doors by adjusting the 3D flag hinges. It took less than 5 minutes and I wish I'd done it months earlier.
What colour/material are your doors? Darker ones will expand and contract more.0 -
Thanks for the info. Bog standard white upvc0
