Next/Phoenix group PPI claim

I have received an offer in response to my Next/Phoenix group but it’s confusing.
States that they have made assumptions and in several places that they don’t have access to statements (even for 2018??)!!
I know I didn’t ask or consent to PPI being added to my account but don’t remember when it was added so have to take their dates at face value which suggests I had it in my account for around 13 years (1998-2011)
I also had a claim on the policy rejected around 2004/5 when I had an fall at work and was off for a while.
The offer seems low at just under 3k but I’m not sure....any thoughts or experiences to share????

    They obviously have paid redress with the info that they have.
    Why would they need statements for 2018? if the card is still running then you would have the statements.

    If you have other statements that they do not have, you need to send them copies and ask them to recalculate.

    Nice redress amount though, did they pay the 8% interest?.

    It is possible that some months you did not pay PPI if you cleared the balance any month, PPI is only charged on any balance remaining.

    You didn't consent to it but you didn't cancel it, and you don't know when it was added but you tried to make a claim on it....
