Vcs letter before claim...mistake of calling VCS when receiving NTK...Help!

I seriously don’t know what I am doing, and now think I am so much less intelligent than I previously thought, plus I am really really shattered now, and can’t see straight anymore and my I pad battery is down to 19% from 100% trying to find an answer. Please please someone help me .

I have with my extremely exhausted brain ( or obvious lack thereof) been reading the newbies thread for hours, and have struggled to find an answer.

In addition to not being able to find an answer ( probably due to my lack of intelligence) I now have to delete my post from this thread which I also don’t have a clue how to do ( probably missed the instructions on that too). I only found this information today AFTER the mediation phone call so obviously I have made mistakes so far and was just hoping for some guidance.

Your defence is the same as it ever was - it's whatever you put in as a defence. Sounds like you didn't research it here first, oh dear, and haven't read the NEWBIES thread post #2 all about what happens when in court cases.

Why do so many posters seem to read the NEWBIES thread for 'hours'?

It's just post #2 that needs reading, and not even all of it as you are way past LBC and defence stage (you did your defence when you got your claim).

You are at WS & evidence stage, pre-hearing.

Nothing has changed just because you wasted time on Mediation (aka phone bullying).

Now can we all delete this conversation from poor Suggii's thread?!

Imagine how you will feel when you start your own new thread if we let newbies post on it taking us off track from your case! We won't. This is why we do this, to keep each thread on point and to offer bespoke help. Not mixed conversations about lots of cases on one thread.

The judge took about 30minutes to read up the case before calling us in.

The case was presented in an informal approach.

the claimant rep mentioned that there was a breach of contract, the defendants breakdown is not a defence. Payment still needed to be made.
And he said that he didnt recieve skeleton argument.
He contested to the use to the beavis sign in the skeleton argument.
He and the judge also agreed that the defence was a generic defence. And that everything in the defence is irrelevant.
The rep sd the lay rep seemed to be assisted by someone on this case.
The judge seemed to agree signage was legible and a contract was formed.
The main argument being OP should have called the helpline.
According to the rep the contract with excel was a roll on contract. To which the judge agreed.
They were awarded with costs of £216.13.
The rep wanted his costs added but the judge didnt allow that. Also payment needs to be made within 14days of judgment.

Also the judge awarded them with the fake add on of £60 even though the previous judgements had been mentioned of the abuse of process.
