Monzo Bank in meltdown???

I had my salary paid into a Monzo account on Friday. About 15 minutes after it arrived I tried to transfer some money to a Lloyds account to pay some bills. The transfer failed. I contacted the customer services number, actually spoke to a person, who assured me that a specialist was looking into the issue and they would let me know when they had an update. I used the text chat a few times but news was forthcoming...
I tried using my card - DECLINED (available balance is very healthy).
Tried to get money from an ATM - refused.
Called back to the phone line and it now goes to an automated message and cuts me off. Had a few online chats over the week-end and all they could say was that a specialist was looking into it.
It is now Monday evening - the phone line does not get an answer, no chats are replied to. I have had to borrow money from my octogenarian father to get me through the week-end. It os now Monday night and still no information.
Are Monzo in crisis? I see from TrustPilot that I am not alone in having a frozen account.
I would recommend sticking to the High Street banks as you can always get through to speak to someone and they have a technical team to sort out problems in quick time. Monzo are a bunch of amateurs...
