Cheapest way to post a vacuum cleaner

Hi, I am thinking about selling a vacuum cleaner.
Does anyone know the cheapest way to do this? It's approximately 8kg and value of £150/£200.
Thanks

I'm thinking of selling mine too.

    It is just collecting dust.

    A courier. Hermes perhaps.

But cheapest is not always best. Make sure you have adequate insurance cover, even if that costs a few £pounds extra.

You will need to box it up and protect it adequately. The original box will possibly not be sufficient as they are designed to protect them when they are stacked together on a pallet. This is very different to sending in the rough and tumble of a parcel service.

For a 2nd hand vacuum cleaner to be worth that sort of money it must be some fantastic machine - especially if it is corded.

I wouldn't bother with ebay unless it's collect only, or stick to Gumtree or Preloved.

A quick search of completed listings for vacuum cleaners that sold for more than £200 gives 400 results. :)

A statistic which means absolutely zero. How many have been advertised, in what price range, in what condition, for how long, collect v. postage, new, used or refurbished, what brand, cylinder, upright or stick, corded or cordless, auction or buy it now, how many relists, ????

This is just the sort of meaningless figure that sells newspapers.

Thanks for your valuable input, just the sort of post that puts people off asking a simple question.
