Do I have to pay claim company?

Hello
I made a claim for Misold PPI using Resolver but also made a claim via a claim company, ( I doubted my ability to win claim alone) Anyway I have had cheques from shopdirect. I havent heard a thing from the claim company since they recieved form (approx 7 weeks) Today I rang shop direct to find who won the claim and they said they only have my letter on file and no record of a company trying to claim on my behalf.
Now my question is do I have to pay off claim company? It was no win no fee
Thanks in advance

If you signed an agreement with them, yes.0

Even if it wasnt them that won? Shop direct have no record of them trying to claim on my behalf0

Yes - you appointed them to buy the stamp for you, but you sent it off yourself before they could do so.
They will still want paying.0 -
FYI, you have ‘won alone’ regardless of who’s letter gets there first. The CMC haven’t done anything and you’ve been offered redress in spite of them, not because of.helpful tips
it's spelt d-e-f-i-n-i-t-e-l-y
there - 'in or at that place'
their - 'owned by them'
they're - 'they are'
it's bought not brought (i just bought my chicken a suit from that new shop for £6.34)0 -

Thanks for your contribution to the thread, though.0 -
UPDATE I have contacted claims company to enquire how much it would cost to cancel their services and they said there is no fee even though im past the 14 day window. I then asked for an update on my claim and they said it was still in inital stage and I wouldnt have to pay them off to cancel with them. I guess I got lucky that I wasnt landed with a bill0
