It sounds something like what I originally suggested that someone somewhere has you registered as holding the old shares. The ISIN being the international standard identifier for investments. I guess the ISIN could simply be wrong.
Where the US comes into the picture I have no idea. Do you?
A thought - does your HL account statement give the ISIN code?0 -

Thanks, no idea where the US comes in they had been adamant that they were held on the Australian market.
I will have to check if the HL account gives the ISIN, it isn't something we'd noticed but then we weren't looking.
I am becoming more convinced that they have done something incorrectly. Champion Iron secretary said there was no reason to have moved them from the Canadian market and that he doubted the broker had the knowledge to be able to do it successfully even if they tried.0 -
