    Meanwhile, back at the ranch....I have built up a store of food in the fridge, freezer and cupboards over the past few months, and it means I did not have to go out today in the rain and 40+ mile per hour winds to buy food for the weekend. It also meant today was my 8th NSD.

    Gradually building up a store cupboard one or two things at a time, and taking advantage of BOGOF offers on things you usually buy, this is how you manage the finances and control the spending. I do have a weakness for nice chocolate, though!

    Seventh Anniversary Combo Breaker
    Hi everyone!!

    Have been so busy this week so not really had time to post. I have only managed 1 more NSD so now on 4/15. After having a read though of others comments I think from next month a NSD will include things that are budgeted for like food and fuel.

    I have done some virtual shopping though, browsing online at Booths supermarkets Christmas food. I am now a drooling heap, and it's still only October.
