Using an estate agent that doesnt use Zoopla

Hi all,
I am considering moving the sale of my property to a high street established estate agent, they use Rightmove but dont use Zoopla.
Is this a major issue and would I possibly miss out on purchasers, I personally only ever use Rightmove.

I'm not actively looking for a property right now but when I need some property p**n I use rightmove and if I can remember the names on the day (brain fails me at times!) I might look at onthemarket and primelocation,
But even when I was actively looking for a property I never once used zoopla!0 -
primelocation = zoopla
Rightmove is more widely used (buy both agents and buyers) I believe, but I prefer zoopla/primelocation for it's useful "key word search" function. No, not telling you guys what my key word is!
But many agents use just one, not both (for cost reasons), which inevitably means that some potential buyers may not see your property.0 -
I think most buyers will look at both sites, but it may depend a bit on what the market is like in your area - if there are lots of properties similar to yours then potential buyers may not venture past their first choice of site.
however, I think a lot of agents only use one, because of the costs.
I'd suggest that you use the agent you want, but make sure that any tie in period you have with them is short. That way, if you don't feel that you are making progress you can change agents fairly early on.All posts are my personal opinion, not formal advice Always get proper, professional advice (particularly about anything legal!)0 -
I may have checked zoopla if absolutely desperate with nowt on market, but was wishful thinking really. Not known something to be on zoopla that wasn't on RM.2024 wins: *must start comping again!*0

It's always Rightmove for me in my searchAn answer isn't spam just because you don't like it......0

I'm firmly in the Rightmove camp too. I absolutely hate the Zoopla website (and I would say I'm generally pretty good at using the internet) and have told OH that searching on there can be his job if he wants it!0

I mainly use rightmove, but zoopla for pricing estimates. I wouldn't use an estate agent who didn't use Zoopla, only because I have never encountered one who didn't, so would just use someone else who did. However if you like these agents, and there aren't others who use both then go for it.0

Zoopla is the Pepsi of the real estate market.0
