If the Gladstones letter tells you to pay DRP, then it's not Gladstones letter, it's a DRP letter using a Gladstones letterhead!

You'll soon get the hang of the murky world of private parking you have just stumbled in on, and the desperate, underhand methods that are adopted to part you from your hard-earned!
Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

It was in Exeter, its a retail car park. I'll try to find out owner info and contact them. How successful is that likely to be?

You know from reading the NEWBIES thread now, how successful that is.

Read the link there to 'Successful complaints about PPCs', an entire thread dedicated to the subject of complaining to the landowner.

Even if they decline to cancel (and REALLY PUSH!) just ignore Smart/DRP letters.

Not a single person here pays Smart Parking (except for small tariffs in PDT car parks).

    :)
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
