Cond. sale & hire purchase & V5?
I have a car on finance and it states ion the agreement i've dug out that its "Cond. sale & hire purchase"
I don't recall ever getting a V5, but it would've been 2 years ago and i just dont recall. I did find an email from June this year where i asked Citroen (where i got the car) and they said i wouldn't have got one as i dont own the car, but that the finance company would have notified the DVLA that i am the registered keeper.
The finance company (who im mid complaint with due to other things) have said i WOULD have a copy of the logbook and i would've got it at the time.
Can anyone advise whether i would've got a copy and ive must've lost it, or if i wouldnt have had a copy sent to me?
Sorry i know this is all basic stuff but due to alot of issues at the time i just dont recall, and i dont know whats typical for this situation.
Thank you!

You SHOULD have got the V5 but that's not to say they did. If you are unsure then the best thing to do is contact the DVLA to confirm who is the registered keeper and if it is you and you still can't locate it then you need to get a replacement.

Umm, who's been taxing it?0

ive taxed it, but i was told they had noted me as the registered keeper with the DVLA, but they werent physically sending me a V5, which i now need. My dispute isnt that im noted as the registered keeper, but whether or not i got the physical V5 document.0

You need to have either the reminder V11's code, or the V5C's doc ref, to be able to tax it. The V11 is posted to the RK at the same address on the V5C.but i was told they had noted me as the registered keeper with the DVLA, but they werent physically sending me a V5
Keeper change = new V5C sent out. ALWAYS.which i now need. My dispute isnt that im noted as the registered keeper, but whether or not i got the physical V5 document.0
