LISA Fisrt Time Buyer Criteria

Hi,
Me and my partner are looking to buy our first house together in the next couple of years.
My partner is British and I'm Chinese.
We've opened a LISA under my partner's name, to benefit from the 25% bonus, as my partner's not had any property or share of property before.
Now I would also like to open a LISA under my name, to help us reaching the target a bit sooner. But with me being foreign, how do I prove to the bank/HMRC that I've not had any properties in China?
I just want to be sure before I open a LISA, just worried about me somehow not able to prove I'm a FTB and having my money locked in the LISA.
Please could anyone help?
Many thanks

Your solicitor will ask you to sign a declaration stating that you meet the definition of a FTB.
