My cat keeps being sick... :-(

I didn't see this thread back then, Jacks, but I'm really glad Mulder's well. I take it you were an X-Files fan?!

Yeah - just a bit!
:D My 6 year old son wanted to call him "Fluffy" and my husband "Greebo" so Mulder was actually the least silly option at the time! :rotfl:
No way was I standing on the doorstep calling out those daft names!(and no self respecting cat would answer to them!

As for cat food ;we used to live in Guyana - tinned cat food didn't exist, so our collection of cats lived on rice, fish, steak (cheaper than mince as it didn't have to be processed!) and offal.
You and Mulder have adapted to your own dietary requirements, so enjoy and have many more happy years together!0 -

Well, *ahem*, I called my two 'Irresistible' (S2, E13) and 'Milagro' (S6, E18). I didn't have a garden at the time, but now I have to call them in, and I'm sure they've secretly re-named themselves.
(I have a home vet now, but when I used to go to the vets my cute vet guy would come out to the waiting area and call "Irresistible?" and I'd stand up with my cat box saying "yeah, that's me..."
)
Good times.
KiKi' <-- See that? It's called an apostrophe. It does not mean "hey, look out, here comes an S".0 -

Thanks honey, I really hope we do. Now that's all over he's pretty healthy really. He's missing a few teeth from fighting as a young whipper snapper, and he has a stiff leg when it's cold...but other than that he's doing really well for an oldie.
Mulder likes a bit of rice - and as much offal as the butcher can give us. He eats things I barely recognise! Not everything that can be counted counts, and not everything that counts can be counted. Einstein0 -

Wish I'd thought of that!

I tend not to tell people that I name my pets after my favourite episodes, though. It often kills the conversation with a look that says they think I'm crazy.

good to hear Mulder is doing well!
One of my cats goes through phases of throwing up his dried food as soon as he has eaten. He is otherwise healthy.
I found using a raised bowl helped a lot.Owned by a Great Dane :heartsmil

Daft people! As my families suggestions so amply demonstrate there are much crazier ways to name a cat.

Ooh that's interesting. Our cat prefers to drink from a pint glass than a saucer and I think that has helped him too. Never thought of a raised bowl for his food though.
That exercise step I don't use nearly often enough could find itself pressed into use as a cat feeding platform!
