First Utility, an offer I can refuse!

We currently pay £160 pcm dual fuel and we are £280 in credit.

Our deal comes to an end in November and the new offer is a tariff which they want £200 pcm for.

How can they justify that?

Do the sums yourself based on what your consumption is in kwh, not money.

Hopefully you've got your data for the past year or so - you have been reading the meters regularly and sending them into the supplier haven't you. I also hope that you've been checking your account and bills/statements to ensure that they are fully up do date using ACTUAL not estimated readings.

It's not difficult to work out how much you've used, how much it should cost and how much you've already paid.

If you aren't happy then use your consumption data (in kwh) to get a better deal with another supplier.
Never under estimate the power of stupid people in large numbers
  • Probably because prices have gone up a lot over the past year.
