in Credit cards
It appears that Creation like to proactively block credit cards (no complaints there) without informing the customer that they've done so (this I do have an issue with).
Has anyone else experienced this?
When the Ticketmaster hack happened in July I was sent a letter that arrived ten days after my card was blocked and it took another week to issue a replacement card.
This weekend, they've blocked my card again and I cannot make any payments. They're customer service isn't 24/7 so I have to wait until opening hours (10:30am on a Sunday) to find out what is going on.
The first time it happened, I requested to raise a complaint. They asked me to supply my credit card details by email! I refused to do this and they did not register the complaint (they did say I could call but I was unable to in the timeframe they requested). But: asking for my details by email, after blocking on a security basis. The irony!
I've never dealt with such an unprofessional company as Creation, and I cannot recommend their credit card service at all.
Given that I have been using my card regularly, I am astounded that a proactive block is not followed up with a courtesy call to the customer to let them know. It's poor service, in my opinion.

Do they have all your correct contact details, especially mobile number? Most banks send automated texts.
You can message them via the website but it just generates an e-mail. Send them a letter to complain.
Perhaps time to look for a new card, especially now that they've reduced the "cashback" rate?0 -
All contact details up to date.
I am looking for an alternative now, although as so many have noticed non-Amex cashback is rare, so I'm looking towards reward cards instead.
I eventually got through to them this morning: their security section doesn't work outside of 09:00-17:00 M-F!
There are some options to unblock a card through customer service, but even they don't open until 10:30 on Sundays!
Time to say goodbye, but the next issue is, to where?!0 -
By the sounds of it ANYWHERE!!!! I am lucky enough to not need sub-prime cards (If Creation is one??) but it definitely looks like a new card is a must option0
