worth the hassle, 50p coin?

I've come across a 50p coin that according to a certain Sun ny newspaper may be worth between 50p and £2.95 on Ebay.
It is the handball 50p struck in 2011 for the 2012 Olympics
Would you even consider listing it on Ebay to make at most £1 odd after taking into account fees and postage and packing and the actual cost of the coin?

I wouldn't! Too much hassle for any expected profit.0

Pop it in a drawer and forget about it for a few decades.0

Dont believ anything you read in the Sun , or anywhere that trys to tell you what a particular coin is "worth".
Best bet is to look at what previous ebay sales have reached ( and also the number of non-sales ) . Only you can they make a decision.0 -
I wouldn't. You've the photos to take/upload, category to find.pick, wording to write.... then watching it, answering questions ... waiting for the end. Get your packing materials, package it up, label, down the post office....
Too much faff for £1.0 -
My Daughter was given a Peter Rabbit 50p in her change, from the Bus Driver on her way home from school this week & she knew they're collectable, looked up the sold listings on eBay & found several had sold for £2000.
I do wonder if they ever got paid & whether these are real sales.0 -
